Trial attorney, Esther Alcaraz Esq., has been practicing law for five years throughout the State of Florida and is the newest member to Pagan & Stroleny, P.L. Born and raised in Miami, Ms. Alcaraz is bi-lingual, speaking Spanish and English as her native languages. Ms. Alcaraz attended the University of South Florida in Tampa for her undergraduate studies before pursuing her Juris Doctor at the St. Thomas University School of Law.

While attending STU, Ms. Alcaraz set herself apart from the rest by serving as the Vice President of Membership for the Trial Team and interning at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security. Ms. Alcaraz received highly regarded Book Awards in Torts and Contract and maintained a strong academic record that resulted in graduating magna cum laude.

After law school, Ms. Alcaraz began her career at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office where she successfully prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and DUI cases. Thereafter, Ms. Alcaraz began the transition to private practice where for the past four years she primarily handed criminal defense cases. Ms. Alcaraz also has experience handling domestic violence injunctions, landlord/tenant disputes and some civil litigation.  Most recently, Ms. Alcaraz has been sharing her experiences and expertise with the young legal minds of Miami Dade College where she is an Adjunct Professor with the School of Justice.
